  Seems very friendly. Great music. I appreciate the concept of a church where people with more progressive views are welcome. I am pretty open-minded on social issues. But I felt uncomfortable with opening comments that were very political in nature. Then the worship leader did an unusual prayer "raising arms to the moon and sun and lowering them to Mother Earth..." From my visit, this is not enough of a Bible-based Church for me. This may be okay for many people. And it certainly is nice that they open arms and their view of Christianity to all lifestyles. Still, there are plenty of churches that are open-minded on lifestyles and also preach the Gospel.

  I have been to many churches since moving to Nashville in 2006. Many were good and I had the privileged of making some great friends along the way. Grace Pointe Church, however has become family, a truly warm and welcoming community for anyone who needs a breath of fresh air in their church experience. Loving God, loving people and loving social justice ALL in the name of Jesus. I can't imagine going anywhere else.

  Freedom to worship, love and care for all people, question, laugh and build true community. It is what I had looked for all my life. A wonderful group of committed Elders and Deacons that are people focused. I can honestly say that all are welcome at the table of the Lord. Bible teaching that has totally opened my mind to scripture in new ways. Yes, God is proud of us! I'm home!

  I have attended this church for about five months now. I have been in church all my life and this is the only place where I felt no hint of "religion" as I walked in the door. Only love and genuine people.

  A place where laughter and tears are shed openly and lovingly.
  A place where the shackles of being raised in the fear of God's wrath are released.
  A place where Christ's Love is practised.
